Courtyard By Marriott Boulder Hotel

It was convenient to downtown Boulder.

Nothing major but a lot of little things. When we arrived at our room the patio door was wide open. The bottle of lotion in the room had been already used.

The weather

Place was dated. Took a long time for our room to be cleaned every day. Reservations made online, asked for aaa discount when we arrived. No if reservation made online

The bed and pillows were comfy..I liked the sliding doors to the outside, even though mine went straight into a bush. Very clean. Indoor hottub was very nice.

The tv was placed in a really weird position...it was hard to watch from either bed or couch. It was also really irritating that the housekeeper walked straight into our room after a brisk 3 knocks before 8:30AM! ...make sure you use the door latch.

Location

the ants and the smell of what they sprayed made me sick. I through up my dinner and no one cared.

Not much to like other than the facility was clean.

Upon arrival in one of our rooms at 4:00 pm, there were not linens for the cot that was brought in, nor for the sofa bed. No towels either. Had to wait until approximately 10:00 pm to receive the linens. We were told that lines were still being laundered. Quite frankly, this unacceptable. Had it not been that all other hotels in the area were booked because of a huge event, it would have been better to have not stayed. For a Marriott facility, expected a far better experience, especially for the price paid. Will not recommend.

great access to parks and nearby attractions for city walkers

I had such a nice time strolling through the vibrant downtown area with iconic landmarks just a short walk away, and exploring the serene parks that offer perfect views of the mountains nearby. It really enhanced my experience in Boulder. As a single traveler, I appreciated how clean the gym was and the overall convenient layout of the hotel made planning my days easy.

Great location right next to the trials.

Quality for money. Food, coffee & even a bar provided in lobby. Indoor pool & hot tub. Washer & dryer available for use. Though cost was less than being within a few blocks from CU, we had everything a higher priced hotel would have provided.

Unless I missed it, it does not appear there are kingsize beds offered at this location. If there were, everything would have been perfect. (Reflected in rating of "Quality of sleep".)

The staff were very friendly and helpful when engaged. Make sure to check the fridge before you unpack.

The room was clean. Hotel tried to resolve our breakfast issue, but the breakfast mix up was from the Booked.net search filter not working correctly, not the hotel's problem but it did end up being our problem.

We were put in the room at the far back. This room almost backs up to a train track that we did not see but were woken up multiple times during the night. Need more front desk staff. Twice when we went in we had to wait for staff to prepare food in the Bistro area while we needed coffee and a light bulb for the room. This property came up under a Booked.net search for hotel WITH breakfast however the tiny print in the listing did not say Breakfast Included so Booked.net left us holding the bag. We emailed Booked.net the screen shot showing this hotel comes up with the breakfast included filter on as the first property, but Booked.net rejected it, they could not "read it." It's plain as day. Not the hotel's fault, but shame on Booked.net.

cost of room was exhorbitant; was charged for food and even coffee--come on, Marriott. You are gouging.

The friendly staff made our long stay enjoyable, and I appreciated having a clean and spacious room. The outdoor seating area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

The hotel was close to the pedestrian friendly Boulder restaurants and shops. Made it easy to get some dinner and see some of the area.

Comfortable, clean,very friendly staff, our go to place to stay whenever we are in Boulder.

We stayed with my son's family and loved the spacious room, particularly the balcony. The kids enjoyed the indoor heated pool and we found the location perfect for checking out outdoor activities like hiking. The staff was great, especially with our dietary needs.

In my wife's opinion, some utensils in our suite would have been great for our meals. The hot tub was also a bit messy one morning.
